ANNA UNIVERSITY NEW ARREAR RULES BASED ON OFFICIAL CIRCULAR RELEASED:

In Anna university released official circular based on new arrear rules in REG 2017 batches.


This circular mentioned the Anna university new arrear exam rules for regulation 2017 batches only. In reg 2017 the arrear rules provided maximum 3 attempts to clear the 1st semester arrear paper otherwise redo the paper. then back to 1 semester this is old rule.


But the new arrear rule is changed due to pandemic situation, university gives two extra chances to clear paper, for example you have 1 sem paper arrear you have to clear within 7th semester otherwise redo the paper.


And this new rules is differ from the batch of admission, beacuse the reg 2017 first batch, now they are in 7th semester, so the rules are the changed and order is given below in the bottom section,


This rules is differ from the batch of admissions like,


Joined 2017 = NO RULES

Joined 2018 and above = GIVE TWO EXTRA CHANCE


So the students can utilize the chance to clear the arrear within the number of attempts.
